Simmental - Leader in Performance Recording

Recently released figures establish that Simmental is a leader in performance recording, 
with 99% of registered Simmental calves carrying Breedplan evaluated genetics.

The analysis, undertaken by ABRI (Agricultural and Business Research Institute, Armidale, NSW), determined the number of calves born in 2000 which had either a sire or a maternal grand sire carrying Breedplan EBVs.

The comparative results of the major Breedplan recorded breeds is shown in the Table below.
