Woonallee U8 was the only 2 Star Australian bred Simmental bull identified 
in the 2001 ASBA Research Project. 

          He was bred by the Baker family’s Woonallee stud, Furner, SA 
          U8 is jointly owned with Seddon Simmentals, SA.

Using semen from Woonalee U8 can quickly build the incidence of 2 and 1 Star progeny in a herd.  

 
*  Mating Woonalee U8 to 1 Star females will produce 50% 2 Star and 50% 1 Star progeny.  
*  Mating Woonalee U8 to 0 Star females will produce 100% 1 Star progeny.
