NSW Beef Spectacular

Just a quick email in regards to the 2008 NSW Beef Spectacular to be held at Dubbo Showgrounds from March 5 to 7, 2008. We are currently taking entries for the led sections, pens of 3 bulls, pens of three steers (hoof and Hook competition) and trade sites. Deadlines for bookings are January 14, but due to Christmas, we have started getting entries now, and if you could send yours in ASAP it will help us in the organization of a top event.

For those who book their entries ASAP, The Land will be starting to run an Honor board in the paper of the studs and trade sites that have booked already and the number of cattle you will be bringing. Therefore as soon as you book we will start the honor role, which effectively is FREE advertising for your stud and this will run to the event. 3 ½ months of your name on the board and in The Land – a good opportunity not to miss.

Pens of bulls and steers are limited numbers and first in best dress, so you better get in fast.

Don’t forget there is a $50,000 prize pool to be WON for the led judging as well as top cash prizes and product for the Pens of Steers and Bulls.

There will also be a large showing of trade exhibitors for you to view and I would encourage you all to have a look around them at NSW Beef Spectacular as they are part of your event also.

SOUTH AFRICAN and GERMAN GENETICS

Star Genetics is proud to announce their upcoming 2008 sale where they will be offering top South African and German genetics.

The sale will include more than 40 ET heifers and young cows.

Females on offer will be in calf from polled sires such as Grinalta's Extraordinaire, Eizenhertz, Zimbo, Brandberg and Corhan Polonius.

Horned sires used include Robobull, Barabas, Great Gun Moses, Star Evan and other South African bulls.

Embryos and semen shares will also be available for sale.
