The Dubbo Beef Spectacular was held from the 17th to the 19th March 2009 with Simmental judging held on Wednesday the 18th.
The Simmentals were well represented with exhibitors from the Tullatoola, Delelvin, Yarramore, Lucky Clover and Mala-Daki Studs.

Grand Champion Bull was Mala-Daki Agent C335, the 17 month old Junior Champion Bull, a grandson of Balig Agent.
Grand Champion Female was Mala-Daki Lilibet V96, a rising 9 year old cow by Zeuwald, who had a 6 month old heifer calf at foot by Heywood Esquire.
The NSW Simmental State Council organised a Breed Society Site at the Beef Spectacular. It was well visited by commercial and stud cattleman, general visitors and other exhibitors. Membership enquiries were taken for Junior and Full membership, with a number of interested people leaving the stand armed with Simmental brochures.
