Saturday was the judging of the Commercial Cattle Section where local studs Lucky Clover and Mala-Daki Simmentals entered a strong selection of pure and cross-bred heifers and cows.  It was an 8 year old Simmental cow with her 4 month old calf, bred and owned by Mala-Daki Simmentals that took out the Elders prize for Champion Purebred Commercial cow. The judge of the Commercial Cattle section was Josh Crosby from Forbes.

Sunday was the judging of the Stud Cattle Section where a small but quality field of Simmental exhibitors took on the cold, wet and windy Crookwell weather. The judge for the day was Mr John Hopkins of Wormbete Simmentals at Illabo.
Grand Champion Simmental Female was Jessica Lewis’ Karagundi Cinderella and Grand Champion Simmental Bull and Supreme Champion Simmental was Jason and Jacqueline Impeys’ Mala-Daki Agent C335.  A highlight of the day was the naming of Mala-Daki Simmentals as the winner of the Interbreed Breeders Group against a strong line up of other breeds as judged by Mr Josh Crosby and Mr John Hopkins.
