Dear Members and friends,
We are all struggling to come to grips with the enormity of the devastation that is being witnessed in Victoria along with the floods in Queensland. At this present time many of our members have been faced with huge adversity and have suffered substantial loss. As you can imagine, communication into many of the affected areas is minimal and we are still endeavoring to contact members and gather any information we can. We are sending out this communication to ask for assistance from members and friends who can provide information on how members in affected areas might be coping.

Collectively, there have been several reports from the area where members have shown great resilience and continue to remain strong. Many have suffered great loss but are in good health with minimal loss of livestock. With this in mind there will be a great need for the availability of livestock agistment, fodder and transportation. If anyone is in the position where they require or may be able to assist in providing agistment, donating fodder or providing livestock transportation please make contact with the Association.
