Due to the continual downgrading of the Wandoan saleyards, the Simmental & Simbrah bull sale that has been there for several years has now changed it venue to the Roma saleyards.

The change to the Roma saleyards and the new date of Friday the 12th of September 2008 will provide a better facility for both clients and vendors with access to all regions, north, south, east and west being readily available from Roma. For those having to travel long distances, Roma has a very good range of accommodation with room for trucks to park at most sites.

Bulls bought from the Roma sale will be trucked back to the Wandoan saleyards free of charge as the vendors realize the change of venue may inconvenience buyers from that region.

80 Simmental and 20 Simbrah bulls will be on offer for the sale which will commence at 11.00 am and the focal point will again be the lines of quality bulls bred by commercial cattlemen who have first hand knowledge of the market requirements.
