Simmental bulls faced strong demand and achieved excellent sales results at the multi breed bull sale at Emerald, Qld in July.

Four Simmental studs entered a total of 22 bulls, achieving a 100% clearance and a $4,995 average.

The Simmental average was the highest breed average for the sale and the clearance was the envy of many other vendors.

Rodney and Elisabeth Skene, Meldon Park Simmentals, achieved the top average of $7,250 and a top of $10,000 for their six bulls.

Other delighted vendors were Rob & Viv Laycock, Clay Gully Simmentals, Esk, Ross Milner, Bushlands Simmentals, Baralaba and Anton Volker, Goomaburra Simmentals, Felton East.
