Simmental Display Attracts Interest at Crookwell

Mala-Daki Simmentals held an Open Day on Sunday 5 August 2007 as part of The Land Southern Beef Week.

It was a cold, wet and windy day but that did not detract more than a dozen cars making the trip to Crookwell.

Visitors came from Dalgety, Berridale, Hartley Vale, Tumut, Nowra, Bowral, Nerriga, Cobbitty and Taralga.

There was a lot of interest in the display of Simmentals and two Black SimAngus bulls were sold for an average of $4,000 with a few others considering other bulls.
