Junior Member, Jessica Lewis, Karagundi Simmentals, Berry, NSW has been actively showing her two recently purchased Simmental heifers, with outstanding success.
At her local Berry Show, she showed both heifers, achieving first place with 19 month old Milton View Alfreda, by
Anchor T Rusty 59G (ET) out of Milton View Roseanne.
Alfreda then proceeded to win Junior Champion Female.
She also gained second place with 21 month old Milton View Ashley (ET), by Bar 5 SA Hero 823M out of Galapagos Amy. Ashley proceeded to Reserve Junior Champion Female.
Then the pair of heifers gained First place in the Best Two Females class.
Later, at Nowra Show, Jessica repeated the performance, with Milton View Alfreda gaining Junior Champion Female and Milton View Ashley (ET) winning Reserve Junior Champion Female. The pair then won the Best Two Females class.
Jessica also secured 3rd place in the Handler's Competition.
Then at the Kangaroo Valley Show Milton View Alfreda won Junior Champion Female and was runner up for Supreme Exhibit.
Next was Milton Show and Milton View Alfreda gained second place behind Jim and Ellen Mison's Milton View Arlie.
