Bandeeka Simmentals, WA Sell to $4,500

 

Tony and Loreen Kitchen’s Bandeeka Simmentals, Elgin, WA staged their second Simmental Bull Sale at Elgin achieving a higher top price of $4,500 and a $3,045 average for the 11 bulls sold at auction.

While the clearance at auction was disappointing, new and repeat buyers vied for the quality bulls on offer.

Michael Bennett, Hillbrook Contracts, Northcliffe purchased his first Bandeeka Simmental sire, the $4,500 top priced bull, Bandeeka Accordian. This 14 month old soft eye appealing bull had panda eyes and weighed 710 kg and was sired by Bandeeka New Zealand. Mr Bennett has been breeding Simmentals for 22 years

AM Gronucci, Manjimup, purchased the second highest priced bull, Bandeeka Appeal, for $3,500.

TB Marshall, Cranbrook, purchased Bandeeka Ashton for $3,250.

GR & ML Styles, Manjimup also paid $3,250 for Bandeeka Artist.

MJ & CH Bleechmore, Boyup Brook, was a volume buyer, selecting three bulls at $3,000, $2,500 and $2,500.
