Willandra Simmental Bulls Average $4,034

Simmental bulls sold to a top price of $6,250 at Charles Cowcher and family’s 19th annual Willandra Simmental Bull Sale, Williams, WA.

22 bulls sold to an average $4,034, up $141 on last year’s sale.

The $6,250 top priced bull was Willandra Anaconda, a full brother to last year's top priced bull and sired by Piper Dot Com.

He was selected for stud sire use by Norm Trigwell, Nu-Plains Simmentals, Boyanup, who described him as an early maturing bull with high 200 and 400 day wt EBVs required by the feedlots.

Kevin and Janice Hard, Naracoopa Simmentals, Denmark, selected the $6,000 Willandra Assassin, a son of MAJ Robo

SG & E Pearce, Kojonup also paid $6,000 for the 21 month old Willandra Antonio, another son of Piper Dot Com.

Welldon Beef, Williams purchased a $5,000 early maturing bull and D & A Weightman, Topweight Simmentals, Margaret River selected a $4,750 bull as did Melchiorre Farms, Narrogin.
