Simmental Bulls Sell to $10,000 in Albany, WA

 

 Simmental bulls sold strongly in Western Australia,
as evidenced by the first multi vendor bull sale in 2006.

 

Albany Bull Sale – Albany - January  – $10,000 Top and $3,375 average

Three studs sold 12 Simmental bulls in the annual Blue Ribbon multi breed sale, achieving a top price of $10,000 and a solid average $3,375.

Kevin and Janice Hard’s Naracoopa Simmentals, Denmark, sold 7 bulls for an average $3,750 and a top of $10,000. Their top bull, Naracoopa Amazon, sired by Quandering Saint, was purchased by Charles Cowcher, Willandra Simmentals, Williams, who was keen to utilise the influential sire line of Buckingham Pagan, present on both sides of the pedigree. Kevin Hard believed Amazon was the best bull the Naracoopa stud had bred.

Naracoopa also sold a $5,500 bull, Naracoopa Archie to William Bay Farms.

G. Boccuzzi secured two Naracoopa bulls for $5,250 each and RP Thornton purchased Naracoopa Apple Jack for $4,500 and a second one for $3,250.

Murray McLean's Scottsdale Simmentals, Forest Hill, sold his two bulls at $3,250 and $3,000.

WA College of Agriculture, Inlet Views Simmentals, Denmark, sold three bulls to a top of $3,000.

Kevin and Janice Hard, Naracoopa Simmental principals, holds the $10,000 top priced Naracoopa Amazon with buyers Charles and Beryl Cowcher, Willandra Simmentals, Williams, Rick Power, Landmark and sponsor Andrew Wallace, Fort Dodge Animal Health.
