Simmental bulls sold to a top price of $5,500 at the Introvigne family’s 11th annual Bonnydale Simmental Bull Sale, Bridgetown, WA.

37 bulls sold to an average $3,608, which co-principals, Mike & Rob Introvigne regarded as a pleasing result, with a large attendance of new and repeat buyers.

Return buyers Bob Pessotto, Manjimup, secured the $5,500 top priced bull, Bonnydale Eastern Star, by Bonnydale Arnold. The 22 month old, moderate birthweight EBV, good milk and intramuscular fat bull ideally suited their requirements. He will be used in their 70 Simmental cow herd to breed bulls for use in their 300 Angus-Friesian cow herd.

Two bulls made second top price of $5,250. One sold to Jardanup, Manjimup, the other to repeat buyers, KM Taylor, Capel

GH, KL & BA Williams, Denmark secured the heaviest 932 kg bull for $4,000.

IE & M Gerschwitz, Esperance purchased two bulls for $5,000 and $4,250.

G. Boccuzzi, Denmark purchased two for $4,250 and $4,000
