Interesting Member Tour in South Australia

Council’s decision to convene the Association’s Annual General Meeting in different regional areas in conjunction with other member functions, proved an outstanding success, with this year’s AGM held at Mount Gambier, SA on Saturday, March 18, attracting a strong attendance of members and guests.

On the Friday before the AGM, the South Australian Branch arranged a members’ tour of four Simmental studs in the Mount Gambier region. Grantley and Vicki Muller, Rellum Farms Simmentals did an outstanding job in arranging the itinerary, transport, accommodation and meals.

About 30 members, guests and Councilors participated in this highly successful program, visiting the following Simmental Studs:

Scott & Brad Creek’s Six Creeks Simmental Stud, Casterton

Mark & Julie Peucker’s Corinda Downs Simmental Stud, Mt Gambier

Gary & Joy Allen’s Tugulawa Simmental Stud, Mt Gambier

Grantley & Vicki Muller’s Rellum Farms Simmental Stud, Mt Gambier

A very informative Beef Class Demonstration was conducted by Ben Glatz.
