David, Tara and Judy Brewer’s on farm March Simmental Bull Sale, Wodonga, enjoyed a top price of $7,250 and an average of $3,026 for 33 bulls sold at auction.

The $7,250 top priced bull was purchased by Genestar Sales Officer, Martin Rowlands on behalf of Queensland commercial Simmental/Simbrah breeder, Ashley Adams, Daracoorte, Blackall.

The 23 month old Black Simmental, Brewers Luck Dice Z478 had a 7 star Genestar test result, an important requirement in Ashley’s breeding  program.

Also included in the sale were drafts from the Wegener’s Tangara Simmentals, Walla Walla, NSW and Don & Betty Rowley’s Nero Park Simmentals, Howlong, NSW.

Tangara sold 5 bulls to $3,000, averaging 2,500.
