Simmental bulls sold to a top price of $6,750 at Charles Cowcher and family’s annual Willandra Simmental Bull Sale, Williams, WA.

21 bulls sold to an average $3,893, up $150 on last year’s sale.

Described by Dennis Roberts, Elders Stud Stock as “the quality was very good and the presentation excellent. The bulls were of moderate frame, showing thickness and muscle.”

The $6,750 top priced bull was Willandra Zee Zee Top, a 920 kg, 22 month old by Piper www Dot Com and boasting a good set of EBVs, was purchased by John & Karen Purcell, North Dandalup/Toodyay for use in their 120 Angus/Friesian cow herd.

Willandra Zimbabwe sold for $6,500 to BL & SA Petchell, Pinjarra.

Willandra Zapata sold for $5,500 to Preston Downs Farming, Esperence.

Willandra Zee-Primecut sold for $5,000 to LG & MK James, Collie.

WC & CK Dumbrell, Walpole bought two bulls for $4,000 and $3,750.

C & J Luciani, Boyup Brook also bought two for $3,250 and $2,500.
