Simmental bulls sold to a record top price for the stud of $9,000 at the Introvigne family’s 10th annual Bonnydale Simmental Bull Sale, Bridgetown, WA.

36 bulls sold to an average $3,922, which co-principals, Mike & Rob Introvigne regarded as a pleasing result, with a large attendance of new and repeat buyers.

New buyers Derek and Bernadette Mondello, Badgingarra, secured the $9,000 top priced bull, Bonnydale Dingo, by Bonnydale Atomic. The 23 month old, polled, 100/100 eye pigmented, 920 kg Dingo sported excellent weight and carcase EBVs.

ND & BJ Holdsworth, Bridgetown, purchased the second top priced bull, Bonnydale Double Agent for $6,400.

LE & EF Brookes, Bridgetown purchased a $6,200 bull, as did G. Boccuzzi, Denmark.

Bonnydale Dominator 12Z sold for $6,000 to J & J Papasergio, Greenbushes.

Volume buyers were Boyup Brook producers, TR & KA Bleechmore, securing six bulls.

KM Taylor, Capel, purchased three bulls, for $4,800, $3,600 and $2,400.

RH Norman & Son sn size="2" color="#000000">RH Norman & Son snapped up two bulls for $4,000 and $3,200.
