Simmental Bulls Sell Strongly in Albany, WA

 

 Simmental bulls remain in strong demand in Western Australia,
as evidenced by the first multi vendor bull sale in 2006.

 

Albany Bull Sale – Albany - January  – $6,200 Top and $3,600 average

Four studs sold 16 Simmental bulls in the annual Blue Ribbon multi breed sale, achieving a top price of $6,200 (up $1,000 on last year) and a solid average $3,600.

Kevin and Janice Hard’s Naracoopa Simmentals, Denmark, sold all of their 9 bulls for an average $4,044 and a top of $6,200. Their top bull, Naracoopa Zanzibar Z4 Youngman, sired by Great Guns Karl 17C, was purchased by Bob & Ruth Poolman, Denmark. They sold 3 bulls to R & P Thornton, Denmark for $3,800, $3,600 and $3,000 and another to JW Dennis & Co, Mt Barker for $4,600.

Geoff Pyle & Co bought the $4,200 Naracoopa Zenus Z22 and BW & AM Ross bought Naracoopa Zappa Z12 for $4,200.

Scotsdale Simmentals, Denmark, sold 2 bulls for an average $4,000 and a top of $4,600. 
Their top bull, Scotsdale Zimbo Z5, was purchased by Watterson Est, Tenterden. They sold Scotsdale Zeb Z6 to RE & RF Williams, Denmark for $3,600.

Marlamerup sold 2 bulls each for $2,500. One sold to NG Carlson & K Rob, Gardner, the other to LE & AG Wolfe, Albany.

Inlet Views sold all 3 of their bulls for an averagae $2,733 and a top of $3,200. Their top bull sold to Jabenco Trust, Albany. The other two bulls sold for $2,500 each to WP & CK Dumbrell, Walpole and to Victor Webb, Albany.
