BCM Simmental & Simbrah Sale averages $4,152, Tops $10,000 |

51 Simmental and Simbrah bulls sold to a top of $10,000 and averaged $4,152, for a 93% clearance at the inaugural BCM Simmental and Simbrah Sale, Gracemere on October 12. The sale was described as a great success by the vendors: Rob & Viv Laycock, Clay Gully stud, Esk Ross & Heather Milner, Bushlands stud, Baralaba Rodney & Elizabeth Skene, Meldon Park stud, Dalby Robby Shaw, Yarrayne stud, Esk Scott & Wayne York, Billa Park stud, Dalby 46 Simmentals sold to $10,000 to average $4,402 and 5 Simbrahs sold to $3,000 to average $2,312. The top priced, $10,000 Clay Gully Xact, was purchased by Bryan and Arlie Wormwell, Monivae, Tara, who described him as a 34 month old with good mucling and exceptional growth for age. "He is a very correct bull that will fit well into our Simbrah herd", Bryan said. They also bought the 23 month old Clay Gully Yaka for $8,500. Barry and Jan Bauman, Tryphinia View, Dingo, selected the 29 month old Clay Gully Yulebar for $8,500. The Sattolo family, Mt Bowman, Texas purchased a Clay Gully Warrior son, Clay Gully Y Not for $8,000. Noel, Jill and Rhett Mobbs, Gowrie, Charleville bought the 29 month old Bushlands Impressive for $7,000, Bushlands Renovator for $6,500 and two other bulls for an overall average $6,125. Reid and Julie Muirhead, Weetalaba, Collinsville, purchased eleven bulls for an average $4,409. They included Clay Gully Yass for $6,500 and Meldon Park York. Troy and Merv McKinnon, Maynard, Jericho, purchased five bulls for an average $3,300 including Meldon Park Yowah for $4,250. Clay Gully sold 12 Simmentals to average $5,604 Bushlands sold 10 Simmentals and one Simbrahs to average $3,886 Meldon Park sold 13 Simmentals and 2 Simbrahs to average $3,650 Billa Park sold 10 Simmentals to average $4,000 Yarrayne sold 2 Simmentals and one Simbrah to average $2,333 The sale
