Becoming a member of Simmental Australia
Becoming a member of Simmental Australia will give you the opportunity to take advantage of many benefits that the Association offers. There are four types of membership available:
- Stud membership
- Junior membership
- Commercial membership
- Associate membership
All members have access to the following services:

Additional benefits for Stud Members Only
Create your own stud
Enjoy the rewards and satisfaction of operating your own Stud Herd. As a Stud Member you can breed and register cattle in one or more of the following breeds:- Simmental, Black Simmental, Red Simmental, Simbrah and Sim Angus.
Genetic Evaluation
Option to participate in Simmental BREEDPLAN, producing EBV's for your stud and commercial cattle.
Showing your registered animals
Exhibit your registered cattle in Royal and District Shows.
Sales support for your stud cattle
Opportunity to sell your registered cattle in Society sponsored multi-vendor sales or via this Simmental web site.
Leadership
Take an active role in setting the direction of the breed and the Society through election to a committee position at National, State or Regional Level.
Voting Rights
Only Stud members have voting rights for National and State elections and meeting.
